This Privacy Policy explains how Rise Realty Inc. (“Rise Realty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with Sell for Mor. Sell for Mor is a real estate service offered by Rise Realty, a California licensed real estate broker, DRE #01957687.
This policy applies to information collected through sellformor.com (the “Site”), our forms, and when you contact us or work with us by phone, text, email, or in person. It does not apply to websites or services run by other companies, even if we link to them.
We do not record phone calls.
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages you view, links you click, the website that referred you, the date and time of your visit, and approximate location based on your IP address. We also collect information about whether you open or click our emails. See Section 5 for more detail.
If you submit a form, we may connect information about your earlier visits to the Site with the information you submit.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or similar information through the Site. When discussing a sale, people sometimes tell us about personal circumstances, such as a death in the family, a divorce, a health condition, or financial hardship. We record only what we need to provide the services you ask for, limit who can see it, and never use it for advertising.
We do not use personal information to discriminate against anyone in violation of fair housing or civil rights laws.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser.
Some of these technologies are provided by third parties, which may collect information about your activity on the Site and across other websites over time. The Site may also load content, such as fonts, from third-party providers, which receive your IP address when the content loads.
We work with advertising companies, including Google and Meta, that place pixels and cookies on the Site. These tools record that you visited the Site and which pages you viewed, so we can show you our ads on other websites, apps, and social media, and measure whether our ads work. Under California law, this is considered “sharing” personal information.
You can manage ads directly with these companies, or see how to opt out of sharing:
We do not send the details you type into our forms, such as your name, email, phone number, or property address, to advertising companies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the Site may not work properly. To limit advertising tracking, also see how to opt out of sharing.
Some browsers send privacy signals, such as “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control. The Site does not currently respond to these signals. To limit advertising tracking, use the options in Section 5 and how to opt out of sharing. If we begin responding to these signals, we will update this policy.
You can stop receiving marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing email or contacting us. We may still send you emails related to an active request or transaction.
You can ask us not to call you at any time, and we will add your number to our internal do-not-call list. We check numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry before making telemarketing calls where required.
We send automated marketing text messages only to people who give express consent by checking a separate text-message consent box. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of receiving any service from us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. After you reply STOP, we will send one message confirming that you have opted out, and then stop texting you. You can also contact us at hello@sellformor.com.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless the law requires or allows us to keep it longer.
| Type of information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Inquiries and contacts who do not become clients | Up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted |
| Client and transaction records | At least 3 years after the transaction closes or our relationship ends, as required for California real estate brokers, and longer if required by law or needed for a dispute |
| Opt-out and do-not-contact records | For as long as needed to honor your request, keeping only what is needed to do so |
| Text-message consent records | At least 5 years after our last text message to you |
| Website and email activity | If linked to your contact record, kept and deleted on the same schedule as that record. Activity not linked to a contact is kept according to our analytics providers’ retention settings. |
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and we limit access to people who need it to do their jobs. No website, internet transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us right away.
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
The Site may link to websites and services we do not control, such as property listing sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make a significant change, such as using or sharing personal information in a new way, we will post a notice on the Site before the change takes effect and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
